Arizona Culinary Institute Honored With ACCSC School of Excellence Award
Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges Recognizes ACI for its diligence in maintaining a high level of student achievement in its educational programs

SCOTTSDALE, AZ. SEPTEMBER 9, 2015 – Arizona Culinary Institute (ACI) today announced that it has been honored by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges with a 2014-2015 ACCSC School of Excellence Award. As a School of Excellence, ACI will be presented with the award on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at an awards ceremony at the ACCSC Professional Development Conference in Arlington, Virginia.

The ACCSC School of Excellence Award recognizes schools for their commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSC accreditation, as well as efforts in maintaining high-levels of achievement among their students. In order to be eligible for the award, a school must meet all of the criteria established by the Commission for its School of Distinction Award, and a majority of the schools’ graduation and employment rates from all programs offered must meet or exceed the average rates of graduation and employment among all ACCSC-accredited institutions.

“It is truly an honor to receive this prestigious award for the second time in the last five years,” notes Arizona Culinary Institute President and Co-founder, Chef Robert E. Wilson. “This honor is a validation of our vision for small classes and hands on training where the needs of the student are primary in every decision that we make when preparing culinarians for rewarding careers in the culinary arts.”
